1/2 Cauliflower
1 Cup Gram flour (Besan)
2 tsp Corn flour
Salt to taste
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
Oil
Preparation-
Cut the cauliflower into small florets and wash them. Boil water along with turmeric and then add the florets into it. This would clean the cauliflower well.
In a bowl take besan, cornflour, salt, chilli powder. Add water and mix well to have a medium thick paste. Do not dilute it.
Drain the water out of cauliflower florets fully and them to this mixture. Coat it well with this paste.
Heat oil in a pan in medium flame to deep fry the cauliflower florets. Once heated, deep fry the cauliflower florets and remove it once cooked i.e the pieces are golden brown.
You can serve this as an appetizer or a side dish
