1 1/2 to 2 cups Maida (All purpose flour)
1/2 cup riped Banana
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1/4 tsp Pepper powder
1tbsp Curd
1/4 tsp Baking soda
2 tbsp Sugar
Water
Salt
Oil
Serves - 3
Method -
Mash the banana to a fine paste. (Usually over-riped bananas are used.)
Add curd, cumin seeds, pepper powder, salt, baking soda, sugar and mix well.
Add maida in small portions and mix well to get a soft dough. Add a little water and knead the dough well. If the dough is too sticky, you could add more maida and mix well.
Take small portions of the dough and roll them into 3" sized circles. This is made a bit thicker than chapatis or puris.
Lightly coat maida on both sides to prevent the dough from sticking as you roll the dough.
Heat oil on medium flame and deep fry the pieces.
