Ingredients
1 White Pomfret
10-11 Fried Dry Red Chillies
1 1/2 cup grated Coconut
1 1/2 tsp tamarind paste
1/2 onion
3 tsp oil
Salt
2 tsp chopped ginger
Serves 3
Method-
Cut the cleaned Pomfret into medium sized slices and keep aside
Grind together grated coconut, red chillies, tamarind paste, salt and water to get a fine paste.
Take this paste into a pan and bring it to a boil. Now add the pomfret slices and cook for about 15 mins on low flame till the fish is cooked well.
Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onion. Saute the onions for few mins and add chopped ginger. Continue ttill onions turn golden brown. Add this to the gravy and mix well.
Dish is ready to be served.
