3-3 ½ cup chopped button mushrooms
1 tomato (3/4 cup when chopped)
1-2 green chilies finely chopped(about 1/2 tbsp)
1 tsp Turmeric powder
1 ½ cup chopped onion
½ tbsp pepper powder
1 tbsp Oil

Method-
Boil water along with turmeric powder and turn off the heat. Add chopped mushrooms and keep aside for 5-10 mins. This process is to clean the mushrooms. Now drain water out of the mushrooms and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan and add onion. Saute till slightly golden brown.
Add tomato, green chillies and cook for 3-4 mins.
Add mushrooms, pepper powder, salt to taste and cook for 15-20 mins until the mushrooms are cooked.
Don’t add water. Stir occasionally.
Dish is ready to be served with rotis or as a side dish with rice.
