Banana Crispies (Kele Phodi)


Ingredients
1 Green Banana (Plantain)
4 tsp chilli powder
Salt
Oil
Rice flour

Preparation
Cut the banana into thin slices
Mix the chilli powder, salt and water to make a thick, dry paste. Coat the banana slices with the paste and then dip them in rice flour.
Heat oil in a pan and add the coated banana slices. Fry on medium flame till it's cooked - about 3-5 minutes

This can be served as a starter or side dish.
