3/4 onion finely chopped
1/4 cabbage finely chopped(1 cup or more)
1 cup rice
1/2 cup grated coconut
5 red chillies
1/4 cup water
Salt to taste
Oil
Serves: 4
Method-
Soak rice for 2-3 hours
Fry the red chillies slightly for 2 mins.
Grind the fried chillies, grated coconut, rice, salt with water to get a coarse mixture. Add more water if required and mix well.
Add the onions and cabbage in the batter.
Heat a tsp of oil in a pan and spread the dosa batter on it. Cover it with a lid and cook for about 3 mins in medium flame. Cook it on the other side as well for couple of mins.
Dosa is now ready to be served.
Tips
This dosa is served with rice and goes well with Daal or Saarupkari
