Ingredients -
1 lb chicken1 large onion
1 large tomato
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
Pinch of turmeric powder
1/4 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala
3 slit green chillies
½ cup chicken broth
Coriander leaves
Salt
Oil
Serves - 3 to 4
Method -
Heat oil in a pan , add chopped onion and fry till golden brown.Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a minute. Add tomatoes, all the powders and fry till tomatoes are cooked. Add a pinch of salt and mix well. Keep this aside to cool down.
Take 1 tsp oil and fry the chicken pieces with green chillies for about 10 mins on medium flame(turns into whitish colour). Keep stirring so that the chicken does not stick to the bottom of the pan.
Take the cooled mixture and grind into a fine paste.
Add this to the chicken and stir well.
Add chicken broth and salt. Close the lid and cook well .
You can add more water or broth accordingly for the chicken to be cooked well and tender.
Add chopped coriander leaves and cook for 5 more mins.
