Garlic Prawn Fry


Ingredients -
20-30 tailless prawns, cleaned and deveined
Olive Oil
Rice flour

Marinade -
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp ginger paste
2-3 tsp chilly powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp freshly ground pepper
1/2 tsp lime juice
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp basil paste

Serves - 2 to 3

Method -
Coat the prawns with the marinade and mix well. Keep the marinated prawns aside for an hour or two.
Heat oil in a pan. Dip the prawns in the rice flour and deep fry in the hot oil on low flame till the prawns turn golden brown.

Note - Cooked prawns could be used for the preparation, in which case deep fry on medium flame for about 30 seconds to a minute.
