Ingredients-
1 lb (2 cups) Green Peas
3-4 Roasted dry red chillies
1 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
4-5 Curry leaves
1/4 cup Grated coconut
Asafoetida
Salt
Oil
Serves: 2-3
Method-
Boil (or pressure cook) the green peas and keep aside. Once the pressure goes off, heat it in a low flame.
Add grated coconut, salt to taste and a pinch of asafoetida.
In a separate pan heat 2-3 tsp of oil on low flame and add mustard seeds. When they splutter, add curry leaves and red chillies and fry for a minute or till the red chillies are slightly fried.
Pour this to the on to the green peas mixture and cook for about 5- 10 mins.
Dish is ready to be served
